so im at starbucks getting a hot tea and chatting with a friend who happens to work there...a woman walks up behind us so we move over to the side so she can order when this converstion starts:

lady: "whats that say on your back?" (inquiring about my tattoo)

me: "its double happiness"

lady: "thats chinese isnt it?"

me: "yes it is..."

lady: "do you know martial arts?"

me: "no."

lady: "are you a priest?"

me: "um....no."

lady: "really? i thought you were a priest!"

me: "uh...ok"

lady: remarking on some slight scratch marks on my neck from my itchy sweater "you have passion marks on your neck" ::glare::

so i promptly looked at my watch and remarked on getting back to work...

keep in mind this lady was dressed like a crazy gypsy that lives in a hut in the swamps of Louisiana with voodoo dolls....mardi gras brings out some interesting people....

christmas was great!

my dinner came out wonderful, however i think it is impossible to get my friends to sit down at a dinner table and eat like civilized people...im all about the floor for general purposes...however, when it comes to roasted duck and a well prepared meal...i would like to sit down at the table....

i got a santoku knife ive been ogling from my mother-in-law and a bunch of gift cards from her as well (she did pretty good this year) my mom got me another coach purse and of course 5 new slik scarves for my hair and 2 pairs of juicy couture track pants because all my other ones are stretched out from being all pregnant and stuff...

brad and i ordered stuff from cocoa de mer (cocoademerusa.com) (if you dont know what it is feel free to check it out, however if you arent in to high end luxury erotic fabulosity dont check it out) for each other...and we love what we got!

holiday is officially dead to me...i lost my usual 6 lbs and am now down to a size 0 again...kind of creepy what the holiday season can do to me...

the birthday party is officially on jan 8th so if you are around, feel free to join us at Sub Zero for sushi, vodka and rock star fun....we are all getting dressed up for the hell of it...wearing our most fabulously sexy fun outfits that we always want to wear yet never have any place to wear them too...

the other day maya woke up from her nap first and phoenix slept for another 45 mins! so we got bored and i took some ADORABLE pictures of brad and her...check them out:

its wierd because ive always played a chaotic neutral halfling...or elf...not a human

I Am A: True Neutral Human Sorcerer (4th Level)

Ability Scores:

True Neutral A true neutral character does what seems to be a good idea. He doesn't feel strongly one way or the other when it comes to good vs. evil or law vs. chaos. Most true neutral characters exhibit a lack of conviction or bias rather than a commitment to neutrality. Such a character thinks of good as better than evil after all, he would rather have good neighbors and rulers than evil ones. Still, he's not personally committed to upholding good in any abstract or universal way. Some true neutral characters, on the other hand, commit themselves philosophically to neutrality. They see good, evil, law, and chaos as prejudices and dangerous extremes. They advocate the middle way of neutrality as the best, most balanced road in the long run. True neutral is the best alignment you can be because it means you act naturally, without prejudice or compulsion. However, true neutral can be a dangerous alignment because it represents apathy, indifference, and a lack of conviction.

Humans are the most adaptable of the common races. Short generations and a penchant for migration and conquest have made them physically diverse as well. Humans are often unorthodox in their dress, sporting unusual hairstyles, fanciful clothes, tattoos, and the like.

Sorcerers are arcane spellcasters who manipulate magic energy with imagination and talent rather than studious discipline. They have no books, no mentors, no theories just raw power that they direct at will. Sorcerers know fewer spells than wizards do and acquire them more slowly, but they can cast individual spells more often and have no need to prepare their incantations ahead of time. Also unlike wizards, sorcerers cannot specialize in a school of magic. Since sorcerers gain their powers without undergoing the years of rigorous study that wizards go through, they have more time to learn fighting skills and are proficient with simple weapons. Charisma is very important for sorcerers; the higher their value in this ability, the higher the spell level they can cast.

ok so first with the strange...

months ago my PT Asst Mgr's wallet was stolen out of our office and some one racked up hundreds of dollars of charges at gas stations (its what they do here in st louis...)

that said...on wednesday a customer comes in trying to use a discount card...she explains she has 2 but doesnt know which one is valid...so we swipe the first one and guess what?! its my pt assts discount card that was stolen along with her wallet! needless to say we confiscate the card and call security and the cops (since there was a police report on the stolen wallet)... the police talk to her and all she says is "i dont even know where i got that from, i just know i had 2 cards, one day it was just there...i dont know where it came from..." blah blah yeah right...

so then...my one of my sales associates had to go to a wake on thursday...and guess who was there? yeah, the woman who had the stolen discount card... w.e.i.r.d.

and now on to fun and exciting...

im stretching my ears to 4 gauge...and im in 8s now...only 2 more to go! WHOO!

WE GOT TICKETS TO MARILYN MANSON IN FEB!!! (this will be the first time i get to see him live! im so excited considering he is one of my favorite artists of all time!)

we are planning a party for liquidink falkonn and nate's birthdays at sub zero in january...its going to be awesome! we are inviting everyone we know....its tenatively on january 8th...

im planning my delicious christmas dinner...im starting a new tradition and making duck instead of turkey or ham...just for fun..

my menu so far:
lavender honey glazed roast duck
roasted apples and pears
mushroom risotto
pie- to be determined

lets not forget the traditional Howard Family holiday appetizers of olives, cheeses, crackers, and WINE :)

and ive decided my New Years Resolution: Dont freak out about work so much, and try and have a personal life (not just a hobby) this includes:
NOT WORKING AT HOME ON MY DAYS OFF! (bring my lap top to work so i can do side projects there instead of waiting until i get home and working on my home computer)

i think this is one of the first completely non baby related posts in a while...
